The sequel to Hell Hike and Raft is here. Ladies and Gentlemen, Hobos and Tramps, Cross-eyed Mosquitoes and Bowlegged Ants let me introduce you to Paddle Hut and Hike. The second enterprise adventure from Epic Social Adventures will take place in Maine in last August and early September. The trip will be comprised of ten Epic Social Adventurers who will take part in a dual sport adventure. ESA is pleased to be partnering with both the Northern Forest Canoe Trail and Maine Huts and Trails. The crew will paddle for the first three days of the adventure in canoes provided by Maine Huts and Trails along the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. During the water portion of the trip the crew will camp one evening on an island in the middle of Flagstaff Lake and will take advantage of the remarkable backcountry huts provided by Maine Huts and Trails. Once the paddling portion has concluded the crew will begin our hiking portion of the adventure by utilizing some of the trails maintained by Maine Huts and Trails and then we will hope on the Appalachian Trail for the remainder of the trip. The first two nights we will camp, one of which will be on the Appalachian Trail. We will be staying in a hut for the last night on the trail. We are very excited to be working with both the NFCT and Maine Huts and Trails, two excellent non-profits working to promote the world class paddling trail and the backcountry trail and hut system up in Maine. Just like Hell Hike and Raft, the crew will talk about their planning, preparation and gear leading up to the adventure as well as the actual trip once it concludes. In addition to the trip, the crew will review all the food, gear, locale and overall experience in Maine. We are so happy to help promote Maine as an epic locale for adventuring as well as the NFCT and Maine Huts and Trails.
