Hiking Forward Essay Contest

Hiking Forward is pleased to announce our first Essay Contest for young adventurers.  The contest is open to students in 5th and 6th grade who have an adventurous spirit and love to write. 

Essay Parameters:

The Essay should be entitled "What the outdoors means to me".
Essays should be between 500-750 words.

Essay submission deadline in January 8, 2016.

​Winners will be announced on January 27th, 2016. 

Essays will be judged by the Hiking Forward Correspondents and Hiking Forward Honorary Judge Grace from #gracesadventures .

Winners will win a prize pack from our sponsors and be offered an opportunity to serve as a Hiking Forward Junior Adventure Correspondent.
